Summary:
The plan from Earth is actually to bring Destiny back to the Milky Way and it willingly sacrifices the people currently aboard Destiny.
When Rush’s set-up works and Telford’s team leave, the crew of the Destiny realize that they can’t trust their connections on Earth anymore.
In light of all this, Young begins to think about the lost-assumed-dead Atlantis expedition.
He’d always dismissed the rumors that the expedition had survived but been abandoned; now he couldn’t help but wonder. So he attempts to contact them with the communication stones. Surely with Eli, Rush and McKay all working on it they could find a way to bring the two expeditions together. -
